Anime Zero Materials Guide: Crafting and Farm Planning

Read Anime Zero crafting recipes, calculate missing materials, compare shop and conversion choices, and plan a run around one upgrade.

Quick answer

Select the intended craft or evolution first. Copy its current recipe, subtract owned items after protecting your reserve, and choose a queue whose reward preview matches the shortfall. Check Shop or Convert when a small gap can be closed without sacrificing another upgrade.

Read the recipe before choosing a farming queue

Anime Zero crafting turns materials into accessories; evolution has its own requirements. Start with the item or stage you intend to complete. Read the recipe in the current menu, compare it with inventory and record the shortfall. Then choose a run whose reward preview includes the missing material. A list of rare drops is not a recipe, and a difficult queue is not automatically the right source for the ingredient you need.

Beebom’s October 9 report places accessory crafting at Yugi, the Forger, reached through Areas → Crafting. It describes Craft, Shop and Convert surfaces. Those give you three possible actions: craft with owned materials, inspect a purchase or exchange a surplus. The report is a useful menu reference; the live panel determines the current quantity, price and availability before you confirm a transaction.

Plan one upgrade

How many materials are you missing?

Use the recipe currently shown in game. Keep items for another upgrade in your reserve.

With these example inputs: 6 available, 6 still needed.

Example quantities only. No recipe, drop rate or completion time is assumed. Your inputs stay on this page.

Use a material ledger that keeps reserved items separate

The planner above performs only arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not contain a hidden drop-rate model or claim to know the current recipe. Copy the required amount from the game, enter what you own and subtract the reserve you want to protect for another upgrade. The remaining shortfall is the amount available to plan around. Check the item name carefully before entering a count: similarly themed crafting and evolution resources should not be treated as interchangeable.

Suppose a displayed recipe needs 12 items, you own 9 and you want to reserve 3 for another objective. Only 6 of the owned items are available for this craft, so the shortfall is 6. These are example inputs, not an Anime Zero recipe. Keeping the reserve visible explains why an inventory that seems almost complete can still be several runs away from the upgrade you have chosen.

Write a separate row for every requirement. Do not add unlike materials together into a single “items remaining” total. Being one rare ingredient short is a different problem from being many common ingredients short, even if the totals happen to match. A useful ledger names the item, required quantity, owned quantity, protected reserve and next source. It is complete when every missing row has an action you can perform.

Match the shortfall to a source

Use the queue’s reward preview to confirm whether the selected act or mode includes your target. Record the selected map, act and difficulty rather than remembering only “Story.” Different selections can expose different rewards. If the preview does not contain the missing item, do not spend a long session in that queue solely because another guide called it a good farming mode. Return to the source decision and inspect the relevant alternative.

For a crafting requirement, inspect the reported Shop and Convert surfaces as well as possible run rewards. A purchase can be useful when it closes a small shortfall, but it also spends currency that may already have another job. Conversion can be useful when you have an actual surplus, but the word surplus means items left after your other planned requirements. Clearing inventory blindly can remove the materials needed for the next evolution or accessory.

Community pages discuss a material pity system, but this guide has not independently verified how its counter applies across all acts, materials or difficulties. Do not turn that report into a guaranteed number of runs. If the current panel exposes a counter, record what it says and which queue it belongs to. If it does not, track the credited drops you actually receive and treat the next result as uncertain.

Compare buying with farming without inventing rates

The dated crafting report lists Fine Cloth and Shinobi Scroll at 2,500 Coins, Mana Feather and Eyeball at 10,000, and Cursed Finger and Tech Component at 40,000 per item. It lists Magic Pendant at 150,000. These are October 9 reported prices, not a live shop feed; stock limits and availability also apply. Inspect the live offer before spending and use the displayed price in your calculation.

Multiply only the missing quantity by the current price. Then compare that cost with the currency you have deliberately kept available. A purchase fitting the balance is not automatically a good purchase: it may leave too little for the upgrade that fixes your next run. Conversely, a small purchase may be reasonable if it completes an upgrade immediately and the alternative is an uncertain farming session. The decision depends on your own reserve and objective, not a universal shopping order.

To evaluate a farming route, measure a fixed session. Record successful clears, total time and the target material credited. Include queue, recovery and failed-run time. Compare routes only when they target the same requirement. A mode producing many unrelated items can look productive while making no progress on the recipe. If no consistent rate is available, keep the plan as a target quantity rather than promising a completion time.

Keep the Shadow Monarch path in its own ledger

The Shadow Monarch community reference associates Shadow Essence, Igris’ Crest, Shadow’s Cloak and Monarch’s Blessing with the raid. It does not establish the exact requirement for every evolution stage. Record the next stage from your Evolution panel instead of distributing those four names across stages by guesswork. The Shadow Monarch guide links the acquisition and evolution walkthrough so you can recognize the relevant surfaces.

Separate three milestones in your notes: obtaining Sung Jinwoo, completing the next evolution and upgrading the Igris summon. A run that helps one milestone may not finish the others. If you are still working on acquisition, check the raid reward and counter. If you already own the character, check the next recipe. If the stage is complete but the summon needs development, inspect its own upgrade surface before spending more on another system.

Confirm the craft and equipment change

Before confirming, reread the selected item, cost and material names. After the action, inspect inventory and the equipment panel. Crafting an item and equipping it are separate checks. If the result does not appear where expected, verify the action’s response and the inventory before repeating the purchase or conversion. This prevents a confusing interface transition from becoming a second unintended spend.

Return to a manageable encounter after equipping the result. Check the problem you intended to solve: survival, a particular attack pattern or resource collection. Keep the other major choices consistent while comparing. If the new item is not helping that problem, review its visible bonus rather than assuming rarity is a substitute for fit. Follow the beginner route if you need a repeatable encounter for that comparison.

Update the ledger when the menu changes

Before the next farming session, check the recipe and offer again. Preserve the previous values in your notes with their date, then use the current requirement for the new plan. This page’s calculator deliberately asks for current inputs so a patch does not silently leave you planning around an old quantity. Your useful finish line is one completed and equipped upgrade, or an exact shortfall with a matching source—not an inventory full of unrelated materials.

Common questions

FAQ

Has this route been personally tested by this site?

No. The route combines linked creator walkthroughs, dated guide reports and original planning advice. The current game menu takes priority for recipes and entry rules.

What should I check after an update?

Recheck the selected mode, reward preview, recipe and current counter before spending. A patch can change a useful route without changing its name.
